Ruined Castle Walk Blue Mountains

Jan 28, 2019 | Blue Mountains Walks

The Honeymoon Bridge is from the cliff face on to the Three sisters.

This bridge is famous for people on a Blue Mountains Tour as it is a must see location for that  memorable photo. The bridge leads to a wind cave on the first of the three Sisters and was created by millions of years of erosion by wind and Rain.  Many years ago there was a climbing group in Katoomba called the Suicide Club and they loved climbing the Three sisters and used the bridge to access the rocky cliff face. This created a traffic jam as when they were climbing they attracted thousands of onlookers to see if they made it up or down. Many years ago the authorities banned the climbing of the three sisters because of the ever increasing crowds.
