Featherdale Wildlife Park
Featherdale is the best small Wildlife Park in Australia and home for Australian Native Animals and amazing colourful bird life.
Nearly all the animals are nocturnal in the Australian bush where they sleep in the day and forage for food in the early morning or late afternoon when the day is cooler. In this park they are awake for longer periods with the best time to arrive is in the morning as early as possible to get the most from your visit. Because our groups are 20 persons or less we again an early access around 8.30am which is feeding time for the many residents.
Our visit is for around one hour or so, long enough to experience the wombats, wallabies, koalas and kangaroos and other residents as you wander around the park.
Note. All the photos on Featherdale and the animals have been taken by this business and all the people in the photos have been on our tours. We will assist you in getting some memorable photos to take home. The Koalas have a protected environment and the park rangers monitor the visitor and koala interaction. There is a fee for a very professional koala photo next to you
