Blue Mountains Day Trip from Sydney
7.15am to 8.00am Your Blue Mountains Tour commences with pick ups from various city hotels and locations.
8.00am The best way for a Blue Mountains Tour is out over the Sydney Harbour Bridge stopping at Featherdale Wildlife Park
8.45am Arrive Featherdale Wildlife Park
9.45am Morning tea. This route to the Blue Mountains through Richmond has little traffic
10.15am Next it is off to Springwood which is on the main road from Sydney and serviced by the excellent Blue Mountains Trains service.
11.30am Our most remote Blue Mountains Lookout is Kings Tableland which was recently renamed Lincoln’s Rock with restricted access to small buses.
12.00pm Our next stop is the pretty Blue Mountains Village of Leura, the quaintest village of all in the Blue Mountains
1.00pm Picnic lunch at Leura parkland.
1.45pm Depart Leura for Magnificent Blue Mountains sightseeing including
- Visit 5 of the following lookouts
- Lincolns Rock
- Gordon Falls Lookout (limited vehicle access)
- Leura Cascades (limited vehicle access)
- Honeymoon lookout (limited vehicle access)
- Echo Point (3 Sisters)
- Cliff Walk (overlooking Katoomba Falls)
- Eagles Nest Lookout (limited vehicle access)
- Narrow Neck Lookout (limited vehicle access)
If doing the BM3 tour, we arrive at Scenic World the largest Tourist attraction in the Blue Mountains. All 3 cable car rides are included with your Blue Mountains Day Tour ticket.
If doing the BM1 tour, you will be able to choose between many walks through the majestic Blue Mountains. We will be there to guide you on your choices.
4.15pm Depart Scenic World or walks driving down the highway towards Sydney, arriving at Rivercat Ferry for a River Cruise return to the city
