Welcome to Sydney Wilderness Tours, a business specializing in Day Tours to the Blue Mountains. We can provide Private Tours for in-bound groups, corporate days, birthdays, hen's days, social days, special interest groups, etc. For over 15 years we have operated tours all over Australia.
Our luxurious, late model vehicles have been fitted with business-class velour seats, extended leg-room, carpets, curtains, tinted glass,, PA system, additional sound proofing. We are the only day tour company using these vehicles for your enjoyment. We have vehicles to suit from 14 passengers to larger large coaches.
We have professional drivers with up to 20 years of experience who take pride in their work and appearance and have a sound knowledge of the different tours which they are guiding.

In 2011 extensive roadworks began in the Blue Mountains on the main roade to Katoomba.This has lead to traffic delays and and a very industrial scene. We have devised this new tour to avoid all that. It is called the Grand Circle Tour. This Grand Circle Tour up one way (east side) along Bells Line of Road and back to Sydney along the Great Western Highway through Mt Victoria Blackheath Katoomba Wentworth Falls and down the mountain through Glenbrook and along the M4 Freeway to outer Sydney. You will be rewarded by seeing much more of the beauty of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains. (see map)

We operate a tour that goes to Featherdale Wildlife Park with an early moring visit at the time the animals are being fed. This tour is coded the BM1 Tour and the BM3 Tour which has the Wildlife Park and the 2 rides on the Scenic Railway.
The other tour is one which does not go to Featherdale and it is coded the BM4 Tour and the BM6 Tour. The BM6 includes the 2 rides on the Scenic Railway.
Take in spectacular views from many locations, including Windsor, Richmond, Mount Tomah, Mount Banks, Mount York, and Mount Victoria. It also includes the Three Sisters at Echo Point, ride the Scenic Railway and other Cable Cars, take in an easy, optional, short walk, have a picnic Lunch at Govetts Leap. (With inclement weather we lunch at the Heritage Centre at Echo point.)
The route for these tours is via the Bells Line of Roaf from Richmond up to Bell at the top of the Mountains (see the attached map)
Drive through some historic areas where the convicts lived and worked. Visit the ancient village 1835 to 1840 now under the control of the National Trust
At the end of the day you board a Captain Cook Cruise ship to ferry you to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay arriving around 6.30pm. You start the Grand Circle tour by travelling over tghe Bridge at 7.30am and at 6.30pm you cruise under the Sydney Harbour Bridge to complete your GRAND CIRCLE WILDERNESS TOUR.
